Eid Mubarak before I post my poems!

First, let me wish Happy Eid to all my viewers. Eid Mubarak! Hope, the celebrations yesterday were grand. I have many Muslim friends from whom I received ' Eid Mubarak' messages and I too reciprocated them. Let there be peace and brotherhood all around the globe.

The very idea of posting my new poems in my Blog - Bengali nonsense rhymes & verses, injects enough excitement in me. More so, when I get the feedback that you have gone through them - posting after posting, episode after episode. It doubles or trebles my energy and increases my adrenaline levels. Till the last episode dt July 25, 2014  (139th), 11,335 of you have viewed and patronized my Blog, which has given me enough strength & courage to post another new episode (140th) today. Hope, this version too will find your love and patronage as always.

In this 140th episode, I would like to share with you - seven of my recent poems (nonsense or otherwise) plus a picture drawn by me with the computer mouse - in the beginning. Hope, these will be liked by you.

A big 'thank you' to all my viewers worldwide!

139th posting.

Ever since the beginning of this Blog, I have been wondering about my viewers worldwide, who visit this place regularly! I do not know, who the 'visitors' really are, who have been patronizing this Blog regularly and what are their nationalities? After all, I have all my postings in Bengali, I share my typical nonsense rhymes (some of which may be just rubbish!) and I am not-so-regular in posting. Still I find viewers from countries as far as USA, UK, Germany, Australia, Bolivia, Philippines, China, Ireland, Bangladesh etc., who  continue to patronize my Blog in a regular manner. While saying so, I am not taking into account, a substantial number of  viewers from my own country, India. I must say, I'm lucky and I feel honored! Thanks my dear viewers. Please be with me during my future postings and please post your comments as well in Google, so that I feel encouraged.

Here in Kolkata (India), the weather is fine, the mood is fresh and I am as eccentric as I have ever been! Till the beginning of this post, I am lucky to have more than 11,127 viewers (220 more since my last one - 138th) with me and I expect loads of love from you, which I'd like to lovingly reciprocate. In this 139th post, I am sharing 6 (six) of my recent Bengali nonsense poems/rhymes/verses with you, plus, a picture from my creative archives.

Funny rhymes are here again!

138th posting :

Well, funny rhymes are here again! Mostly nonsense, these rhymes are simple and funny and highlight the lighter side of our life. When we are hard pressed and full of tension, we should try to understand that there is a fine line between fishing and standing on the bank like an idiot. And there comes the need to earmark some 'quality' time for our own.

The trouble with rhymes that you find sometimes is that once they are found, you find you are bound - just because of the sound, to use them and then you never know when to stop! And believe me, these are not my words, but penned down by poet, Pie Corbett in her poem : Rhymes.

Now sharing 7 (seven) of my recent Bengali nonsense rhymes with you. With 10,907 viewers participating worldwide till the end of my 137th Blog, this 138th posting raises new hope for me. The illustrations are by yours sincerely. Plus a picture drawn by the author - in the beginning. Happy viewing.

It's all about football, my dear!

137th episode : 

It's all about football,  my dear! 

Football is all about kicking a ball with the foot to score a goal. Also known as soccer in many countries and extremely popular worldwide, this team game is associated with many stories & histories - happy, sad and funny. People in ancient Rome and Greece are known to have played many ball games, some of which involved the use of feet. With the recent completion of the FIFA World Cup 2014, where Germany beat Argentina 1-0, the football ecstasy has just subsided - albeit temporarily. 

This issue of my Blog (137th episode), which is already being viewed by 10,775 persons worldwide features 7 (seven) of my funny poems (nonsense or otherwise) in Bengali, plus my illustration of a happy boy, which I believe will be liked by you.

11 July 2014 - 136th episode.

Of late, I have been noticing that the regularity of writing my posts has been dwindling, the reason being extreme fatigue due to my recent illness. While my mind longs for writing a new post, my physique betrays. If I say : my favorite color is W, my favorite drink is bees, my favorite song is apple and my favorite hat is trees, you'll simply raise your eyebrows, and wonder if I have gone mad! But, as a writer of nonsense poems & rhymes in Bengali and an illustrator of funny cartoons, I may expect you to excuse me.

So, instead of writing too many words here, better let me share 5 (five) of my so called new 'creations' with you and see if the number of viewers (currently 10,664 worldwide) increase with each posting, provided they continue to enjoy my nonsense rhymes/verses in Bengali. The illustration (World Cup 2014 : Germany -7, Brazil -1) in the beginning is a Bonus!

Is my Blog still creating enough interest among you?

135th posting:

This morning, I was wondering if my Blog is still creating enough interest among you! The same old wine in a new bottle - the typical yet funny nonsense rhymes in Bengali, the stereotyped illustrations, sarcastic themes... the list may be endless...

But the consolation is: I am helpless and I am not good at other things, which I may confidently present before you. Though occasionally I try to post some of my photographs in this blog, I am not sure whether you appreciate them or not. At least, I do not receive your applause through your comments, which I eagerly long for. I am posting 6 of my Bengali nonsense poems here again, along with a cartoon by me in the beginning.

10477 views worldwide till the 134th episode with an average of 78+ have made me emboldened to pen down the 135th episode - only for you, my dear friends. A big thanks to all of you.
